Well, here it is. The Mayport Jetties are kind of slow for S. H. fishing... they are there, but not in numbers. The water is still a little cold for the big move. However, there is a good supply of big ones at the little jetties. The're not up IN the rocks like they are in WARMER WATER. I am getting them in the 8 to 12 foot range. Anywhere along the Jetties is good, but make sure you are fishing at least 8 ft deep. My wife (who is new to fishing, of any kind, almost out fished me today) I finality caught up to her at 7 Sheepshead a piece. I will never live it down if she out fishes me. Well they are there if you want to gett'em, and boy are they GOOD TO EAT!!! We fished on both sides of the rocks, and caught fish on both sides. It seems like depth is the most important factor. 8 to 12 foot.Use just enought weight to keep your bait on the bottom. Good Fishin! Capt. Jeff Beaches Fishing Charters!!!
