Bluefin have settled in around the Baccardi Wreck and other wrecks and lumps in that general vicinity. Heard of some bigger bluefins east of the Baccardi. Most fish on jigs and bait worked deep or right on bottom. Butterfly jigs best and sardines on the bait side. Most boats drifting but some anchored up. Heard of some boats going off on their own in that area and doing real well, not messing with the fleet. Fish seem to be on the high spots.
The bite at the 100 square in Hudson dropped off to nothing. Time to search.
Some bluefin in nearshore waters south of Fire Island and Moriches Inlets. Not settled in and in different place every day but 135 to 180 feet is the general area.
