Reds and Black Drum

I fished 6 of the last 7 days and the Reds and Black drum have been non- stop. The afternoon low tides, that we have had this week, have allowed  the water temp. in the creeks to be a few degrees warmer than the InterCoastal. I'm  seeing good sized schools of reds along the edges of the waterway, but getting them to eat is a little harder then in the creeks. I like to use a jig and shrimp combo this time of year because of the amount of Black Drum around. We have also pulled quite a few flounder off the bottom while targeting reds. Most of the flatties were on the small side. We got 13 in one 50 ft area.   Until next time.....  Capt. Jeff Beaches Fishing Charters!Image071.jpg

Great to hear Captain Jeff. Enjoyed the report! I thought it was too cold lately for fishing, but you are proving me wrong.
