Here in Humboldt Bay, it is slow so far, I'm still getting nice size crab though. King caught 9 miles out from the M/O the eel and 350 ft. deep. I'll wait for July.
The fishing is still going good for the anglers fishing in front of Santa Cruz for Halibut. Anglers drifted Sardines and Squid and caught nice Halibut early before the wind blew. There were a few Seabass caught on Squid in the same area. Capitola has been seeing some nice Halibut in 55 feet of water. There were a few Salmon caught near the Soquel Hole down 155 feet. The fishing is good early and Boccie has Sardines.
