Atlantic Salmon Fishing Miramichi River

The Fishing season on the Miramichi River in New Brunswick Canada runs from April the 15th through till oct the 15th for Wild Atlantic Salmon .From April the 15th till late May most of the fishing is done by fishing from boats with guides  using sinking lines and bigger flies .From June till Oct the 13th fishing is done by wading using floating lines with wet and dry flies  http://www.miramichiriverreports.com

With the 2010 fishing season less then a month away it is looking like the river will be a ice free river come opening day and we have not had much of a winter this year and it now looks like a early spring. With opening day on April the 15th things are looking good. In April and May much of the fishing is done by fishing from boats with a guide using sinking lines and streamer flies . fishermen can expect to land between 5-10 Salmon and Grilse almost every day this time of year .
