Trout Report We started out in Hopedale Lagoon at daybreak.First stop nothing,then second stop near a point produced 7 nice trout.Well the bite ended when a boat ran wide open between our boat and the bank,which was only 75 yards away.I hope he had a nice day.Well we moved around the Lagoon picking up 13 more.Water was getting muddy,so we decided to head towarded Lake Robin.Found a few birds working a point,picked up 10 more trout at this location.Decided to try a small cove near this point and it was on.The last 20 trout came quick several were over 16 inches.The black/chart bayou chub with 1/4 oz chart/head 2 ft under rattling cork was the ticket.Good luck this weekend,no fishing for me off to the duck camp.I may fish next Thursday will post a report.
