The lake level is about 3' high now but the action is still very good for Whitebass. We have been catch huge numbers of whites on main lake humps from 20 to 30 ft using CC spoons and Flexit spoons both with upper jigs making for many doudles being caught.

The crappie action has been pretty good as well but the crappie have been biting very lite with the water conditions. The Super Bug from ThumpIt Jigs has been the top producing jig. We did catch a few on minnows too. Most of the fish have been coming out of 20 to 30 ft water on brush piles.

TP&W has closed 3 boat ramps at this time, Buck Creek, Pecan Creek and Pond Creek boat ramps are all closed due to high water.

We caught a good number of crappie in a couple of hours and then limited out on whitebass catching many more keepers that we tossed back.

I had the pleasure to to take out a crappie trip with a 12 year old aboard. Young Allan had a blast pulling in most of the fish.
